KCPS and Company is based in Tel Aviv, which allows the company to take advantage of unique conditions in a growing financial center. Tel Aviv enjoys a rare concentration of top-tier global investment management talent that has gained its experience at the leading financial institutions around the world. Israel has created an environment that is welcoming to financial professionals and encourages them to build viable and internationally competitive firms. It is under these favorable conditions that KCPS was founded, providing a platform from which to leverage an exceptional talent base.
The favorable environment in Israel for financial firms is not the first example of Israel undergoing accelerated growth in a complex industry. The country has a proven record of successfully capitalizing on such opportunities. A similar phenomenon allowed Israel to become one of the global centers for the technology industry. The same factors that drove the emergence of one of the world’s most innovative technology industries in the 1990s are now driving the emergence of Israel's financial services industry, i.e., outstanding human resources, a strong higher-education system that emphasizes quantitative skills, local professional experience gained in international markets, Western legal and accounting standards, and a vibrant entrepreneurial culture.
